SHIPPING POLICY
Made-to-Order Production Timeline
All products sold on ZARUGS are made-to-order rugs.
- Production begins only after an order is successfully confirmed.
- Due to the handcrafted nature of our rugs, production may take up to 30 days from the order confirmation date.
- This timeline includes weaving, finishing, quality checks, and packaging.
Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or modified, except where required by applicable law.
Dispatch Timeline
- After production is completed, orders are dispatched within 2–5 business days.
- A shipping confirmation email with tracking details will be shared once the order is handed over to the courier partner.
All timelines mentioned are estimated and not guaranteed.
Domestic Shipping (India)
- Estimated delivery time after dispatch: 3–7 business days.
- Delivery timelines may vary due to courier partner operations, weather conditions, or regional restrictions.
International Shipping
- Estimated delivery time after dispatch: 7–21 business days, depending on the destination country and customs clearance.
- Customs duties, import taxes, and any additional charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
- ZARUGS is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or international courier partners.
Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated and displayed at checkout.
- International orders may attract additional charges such as customs duties and taxes, which are not included in the product or shipping price.
Risk of Loss & Delivery Responsibility
ZARUGS retains full responsibility and risk of loss for the order until the shipment is successfully delivered to the customer’s provided shipping address, as confirmed by valid courier tracking and delivery confirmation.
In case of:
- Loss in transit
- Damage during transit
- Non-delivery prior to confirmed delivery
ZARUGS will coordinate with the courier partner and provide a resolution in accordance with our Returns & International Orders Policy.
Once the order is marked “Delivered” by the courier partner with delivery confirmation, risk and responsibility transfer to the customer. Claims raised after confirmed delivery may not be accepted.
Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery Attempts
- Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping details at checkout.
- Orders returned due to incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, refusal to accept delivery, or non-availability of the recipient may incur additional re-shipping charges.
Delays Due to Production or Logistics
As all rugs are handcrafted and made-to-order, delays may occur due to:
- Artisan production timelines
- Raw material availability
- Quality control processes
Such delays do not qualify for cancellation, refund, or chargeback.
